Plainview - (WALK) Bank officers at TD Bank are expressing concerns about the the security of their client's accounts, Island-wide, after a maintenance man discovered an ATM card-skimming device and a similar device on a card entrance outside the bank, said Nassau police.
The maintenance man discovered the skimming devices at the TD Bank, 500 Old Country Road, Plainview, on March 9, said police.
"TD Bank has reached out to all customers who may have been affected by this incident to answer questions and will work with them directly to address any correct any issues as quickly as possible," according to a statement issued by the bank.
Anyone who used the TD branch in Plainview, or nearby ATMs should monitor their accounts, said police. Anyone with information about the skimming devices should call Nassau County Crime Stoppers: 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
