Cops: Sleeping Burglar Nabbed with Stolen Lottery Tickets

Levittown (WALK) - A Long Island man has some explaining to do after police say they found him sleeping in a car full of stolen lottery tickets.

Frank Lalima of Levittown was arrested after someone spotted him parked in his car on Wantagh Avenue Thursday morning and called 911. Inside the car with Lalima was a large amount of scratch-off lottery tickets and a ticket dispenser, both of which had been stolen earlier in the day from a deli in Massapequa, according to police.

Marijuana was allegedly found inside the car as well.

Lalima, 20, is facing burglary and drug charges. He is scheduled to be arraigned this morning at First District Court in Hempstead.
